In John 8, Jesus encounters a group of people holding stones and exposes thier bias blind spots. We also see how he unburdens an adulterous woman of her guilt and shame.

What does it mean to be “born again?” For many and, it represents a particular sect of the Christian faith. In John 3, Jesus puts it at the very heart of the Christian faith. New Birth means to be made alive by the Holy Spirit through the power of Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection.

The gospel says that in Jesus Christ, God has developed a perfect validating performance record, and he offers it to us, and by it we are accepted and validated.
