Cityline Church

On this week's Episode, we have Dr. Rich Rollins joining us! Listen in as we take conversation "Beyond Sunday."

The Bible was not designed simply to be believed; it was designed to be lived. And scripture was designed to be read for formation, not just information. In this message, Pastor Jack continues with week 5 of our series "Bread."

We're taught Bible stories, but we're never taught the story of the Bible.

We approach the Bible not as critics or as defenders, but rather as apprentices or learners of Jesus.

We understand the Bible was written for us, but not written to us.

WHAT IS THE BIBLE FOR?

· To know who God is.

· To tell the story of human history from God’s perspective.

· To shape and form us into a people of God so we can partner in the ongoing story of God.
