What happens when faith goes into crisis? In the church, this happens more often than we want to admit. Sometimes, crisis is brought about by the experiences we encounter with fellow believers. I know, first-hand, that my most difficult times in ministry came because of the behavior of people who had an agenda, and I was in their way. Most pastors can tell you horror stories of how badly they have been treated by church leaders. The cancel culture has been one of those evils that goes after people with a vengeance. There has always been a tension between what is preached in church and what is not. As any church that grows in size and in organization, there comes a financial burden to be met by the demands of the ministry.  It is those demands that can dictate how prophetic the ministerial staff can become before it might affect the bottom line of that church.
