COVID-19 is moving around the world. Some react by panicking! For others, it's just a highly contagious flu-type virus. Some are linking it to other events happening around the globe and declaring the End Times with God breaking the seals of the Book of Revelation, "When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and there was a pale green horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following after him" (Revelation 6:7-8). So, is this happenstance, hype, or hysteria? Is this the BIG disease that is destined to wipe out humanity or pass by with little harm or somewhere in between? Jay the Truth Barista and Amazing Larry tackle this topic with history and a big steamy cuppa God's truth.
This creative Podcast uses an imaginary coffeehouse as the setting to talk about the issues facing our day. The Truth Barista is Pastor Jay Christianson, who is fluent in the Hebrew Traditions of the Bible and uses his knowledge to bring clear insights to bear upon the issues that define our day. The Podcast is humorous yet clearly instructive as The Truth Barista tackles tough issues facing Christians today.

Most of us are fairly tired of receiving updates on the COVID-19 virus, but I feel it is important for a short commentary on it. Recently, I was asked about who I follow in terms of prophecy, and I said the late David Wilkerson is a trust voice in my life. Of course, there are others, but overall, I follow my reading of the Scriptures … especially when it comes to prophecy. We have to personally own what has been Written rather than the word of a gifted teacher. Gifted teachers can error in what they teach … that is why we must know the Word and not be fooled by slick presentations or the popularity of the teacher. Join Larry in this episode as he addresses this topic.

Most would say yes, but the longer this scare continues many pastors and conservative leaders have their questions. In this episode, Larry talks with two pastors about the church and the spiritual messages they see coming out from the quarantine time out.

You think your good. I’ve got bad news … you are not good. God created everything and said it is good. Then God created man and said it is very good. And then right away, man messed everything up. Most people think they're pretty good. That’s the kind of message they hear in church … that they’re so good. We want to be told we’re good, we don’t want to be told we’re a sinner. That's one of the key problems with the church today ... telling us we’re so good. Pastor Walt helps us to understand that the prerequisite to actually being good is recognizing what we’ve done wrong.
Walt McFadden, Pastor of Cityview Church, is a no-nonsense kind of guy who takes no prisoners when it comes to the Truth. Pastor Walt likes to ‘Think Out Loud’ about the Bible and how it can impact a community through the proper application of Spiritual Principles. You will find an honest response to some of the most difficult questions facing us today.

One of the ways we can evaluate a society’s value about people is to note how the society views sex. The first assault on sex was how we devalued marriage between husband and wife. In movies, we saw how easy it was to have sexual relationships and that set a pattern for how people relate to sex through casual sexual encounters. Then the assault moved on to include same sex relationships. Now, we now have moved on to the acceptance of having sex with children. All of this is a direct violation of God’s laws on sexual behavior. This is one of the reasons that God will bring justice and judgment to our sexual revolution where everything and anything goes. Join Larry in this episode, as he talks about this taboo subject.

Once again, we live in a post-Christian world where many of the prominent ideas of our day are not based upon a Judeo-Christian foundation. Join Larry in this episode, as he talks about the journey of living a Christian life in a post-Christian era.
