Citywest Church

Hello, welcome to the Citywest Church Podcast. We will be posting weekly messages from our Sunday gatherings from now on.

On Sunday, we continued our journey through Advent. This week, the theme is Joy. Any birth is cause for celebration, but the birth of Jesus brings Joy to the whole world, not for a moment but for all who would put their hope and trust in Jesus.

Join us as we explore how joy can work in our lives, both in the present and in the future.

Our prayer is that this will be an encouragement to you.

Hello, welcome to the Citywest Church Podcast. We will be posting weekly messages from our Sunday gatherings from now on.

On Sunday, we joined Christians all over the world as we entered the Advent season. The word Advent means waiting. We are waiting for Jesus, whose birth we celebrate on Christmas Day. We as believers today live in between the first coming of Jesus, which is what we celebrate at Christmas, and the second coming of Jesus, something that we look forward to with joy.

Advent has 4 main themes, and this week’s podcast from Ps Stef looks at Hope.

Our prayer is that this will be an encouragement to you.

Join us as we journey through Advent.

We explore the story of Peter the jewish disciple and Cornelius the roman officer in Acts 10 to see how hospitality is used in reaching the lost.

We explore the story of Jesus feeding the 5000. A powerful reminder that you have something and it is enough.

We begin to explore the rich history of hospitality being a heritage of the Christian faith.
