Movement is essential to life, and as the climate changes, more people - and other species - are on the move than ever. In this episode, Zone Rouge looks at how this movement will collide with Canada's immigration policy, an increasingly sprawling Montreal, and the resistance to finding new modes of transport.
Zone Rouge is a series about eco-gentrification, about hidden rivers, about urban coyotes, and about environmental racism - in other words, it's a series about the climate crisis, and its effect on Montreal. Over eight episodes, it'll explore the effect of the climate crisis on Montreal, through the sounds and voices of the city, and it'll highlight how Montrealers are responding to the challenges posed by climate change with resilience and creativity.
