The NDP opposition have been pressing the provincial government for action after obtaining a memo saying staff are overwhelmed at Regina's emergency rooms. NDP Leader Ryan Meili said long wait times and treating patients in hallways have become the norm at ERs, and high staff turnover is causing further issues. The NDP pointed to a recent case where a woman was treated for five days in the halls of Regina's Pasqua Hospital along with six other patients. Vicki Mowat is the NDP's health critic, and she joins Drew now to discuss the issues and the action she's hoping to see from the SaskParty government.
