On Friday, Saskatchewan RCMP announced a seventh person was charged in connection to the homicide of Tiki Laverdiere, an Edmonton woman who went missing in North Battleford in early May. Laverdiere's remains were discovered last month, and the RCMP have since arrested six people, charging them variously with murder, kidnapping, acting as an accessory to murder after the fact, and interfering with human remains. A Canada-wide warrant has also been issued for Nikita Sandra Cook, a 31-year-old woman from Onion Lake Cree Nation, who's also charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping. Tyler Marr, news director for CJNB and battlefordsNOW.com, has been following the case closely. He joins John now to recap what we know so far about the victim and her alleged killers.
