Saskatchewan has a wild pig problem. According to researchers at the U of S, the spread of wild pigs has grown significantly in Canada in recent years, and their range has expanded by more than 80,000 square km each year over the past decade. The pigs can adapt to nearly any conditions and eat nearly anything, making them a concerning invasive species. According to Ruth Aschim, a PhD candidate who led the U of S research, eradicating the pigs would be extremely difficult because of their many adaptations. Aschim joins Drew now to discuss Saskatchewan's wild pigs
