Alexis Kolody, was sexually assaulted in 2017 after falling asleep at a party. The man who attacked her was given a three-year prison sentence Tuesday, and Kolody asked the courts to lift the automatic publication ban on her identity because she wants to help end the stigma around sexual assault and let others to know it's alright to speak about what happened to them. She joins John now to discuss her story, the stigmas that are still attached to sexual assault victims, and what needs to change to bring them to an end.
