Members of the Senate of Canada's Energy, Standing Committee on the Environment and Natural Resources are touring across western Canada seeing public feedback on the controversial bill C-69, which would rewrite environmental assessment requirements for resource projects, before submitting their report on the bill next month. The tour has stopped in Vancouver, Calgary, and Fort McMurray, and the group was in Saskatoon Thursday before heading to Winnipeg today. Senator Michael MacDonald, deputy chair of the committee, joins the show to discuss the tour and what they've been hearing at their meetings.
