Education support workers across the province are hitting the picket lines today, students within the local public and Catholic school boards will both be at home today, and a Wilkesport man who pleaded guilty to a pair of weapons offenses in connection with a shooting in Wallaceburg will spend another month and a half in jail.

Time is running out for the province and the union representing education support workers to reach a deal, a man involved in a shooting in Chatham last year will be sentenced next year, and the fundraising results are in from the Maroons' annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Sunday.
