It looks like the power outage that lasted most of the morning in the Thamesville and Ridgetown areas is all cleared up now, an organization that represents Ontario's nurses says a strong recommendation for masking isn't enough, and a 34-year-old Chatham man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman and her two daughters last night.

It's a dark, chilly start to the day for hundreds of residents in the Thamesville and Ridgetown areas this morning, not much movement in contract talks between the province and the union representing education support workers, and Dresden has started its transformation into "Southwestern Ontario's Christmas Town."

Calls are coming from some of the top officials in Ontario for people to mask up again, Premier Doug Ford also has plans to extend the gas tax cut, and a 47-year-old Chatham man is charged with impaired driving after he allegedly flipped his vehicle over into a field on Queens Line over the weekend.

We should get an update this afternoon on the boil water advisory in Wallaceburg, if you missed out on this morning's Remembrance Day ceremonies, there's still one this afternoon in Chatham-Kent, and a  22-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges -- including impaired driving -- after an early morning crash in Wallaceburg yesterday.

You'll have to keep boiling your tapwater in Wallaceburg for a little while yet, veterans will be honoured and remembered across Chatham-Kent today with ceremonies and parades, and parents of stillborn babies in Chatham-Kent will now have a little more time to say goodbye.
