The number of active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent is down again today, two men are facing charges after an argument about a two-vehicle crash in Chatham led to threats and an alleged assault, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau unveiled some details for federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates this morning.

The Prime Minister is expected to announce a mandatory vaccination policy this morning for federal workers, Santa Claus won't be taking his traditional route through Chatham this year, and no charges after some grenades were found in a vehicle at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor on Monday.

After a move in the wrong direction yesterday, Chatham-Kent's active covid-19 numbers are showing a small improvement, Ontario will be providing rapid antigen COVID-19 testing in schools, and organizers of the Field of Honour baseball game in Chatham are already thinking about hosting another event in the future.

The Chatham-Kent public health unit is reporting two new school outbreaks and 48 new cases of COVID-19 today, Windsor police say officers are responding to the area around the Ambassador Bridge "for possible explosives", and the provincial government has laid out some of its plans for the next few months as they get back to Queens Park for the fall session today.
