Residents and businesses in downtown Chatham should prepare for some flooding this weekend, No injuries were reported after a house fire just north of Thamesville, and a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at a child care centre on Walpole Island.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent is down again today but there's another school outbreak locally, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is offering additional COVID-19 testing for walk-in patients, and OPP are investigating a fatal crash that took place north of Dresden earlier this month that claimed the life of a 59-year-old Dresden woman.

A noticeable dip in the number of active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent today, OPP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing man from Tecumseh who was last seen getting into a red kayak in the Mitchell’s Bay area, and groups in Chatham-Kent that are planning to hold events next year can apply for some extra funding now to make it happen.
