Chatham-Kent’s Medical Officer of Health is disappointed after a local MPP said he won't be getting COVID-19 vaccine, The public health unit is reporting another increase in COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent, and Leamington OPP are giving credit to a local boater for helping to prevent a tragedy on Lake Erie near the Wheatley Harbour.

Chatham-Kent Leamington MPP Rick Nicholls is no longer a Progressive Conservative, the local public school board says it's ready to safely welcome back students next month, and a Canadian Forces veteran from Chatham-Kent who served in Afghanistan says he has been watching the news out of that country with a heavy heart.
