An investigation is still underway into a two-vehicle crash on Middle Line near Tilbury that claimed the life of an 83-year-old Leamington man, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent is still at 34, and the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for use in Canadian children.

We should have some more information later this morning on a serious crash that closed a section of Middle Line just outside of Tilbury for a few hours yesterday, fire that started in the battery compartment of a truck in the Blenheim-area has caused a total of $160,000 worth of damage, and the donations for this year's Hike for Hospice came in way over their fundraising goal.

Chatham-Kent police have closed down a section of Middle Line just outside of Tilbury after a serious crash earlier this morning, the latest COVID-19 numbers in Chatham-Kent are moving in the right direction, and a statement by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization is causing some confusion and concern about whether some vaccines are better than others.

There's a big drop-off in the number of Lambton Kent students opting for online classes for the upcoming school year, what started as support for a greenhouse in Chatham-Kent is turning into good deeds across the southwestern Ontario, and NDP leader Jagmeet Singh will be speaking with business leaders in nearby Windsor today.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent is up slightly today, Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after someone broke into two buildings at the Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village, and a 44-year-old Dresden woman has been arrested and charged after she allegedly damaged a home that she was supposed to be house-sitting.

You won’t be able to use the Third Street bridge in Chatham for the next little while, anyone aged 18 and up in a designated hot spot can book an appointment to get their COVID-19 shot at a mass clinic, and the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent isn't letting the pandemic get in the way of celebrating a major milestone.
