NHL.com writer Mike Zeisberger says that the Devils went with Lindy Ruff as their new head coach because they wanted a veteran that had been through the wars to lead their young group of talent players. Seahawks insider Gregg Bell from the News Tribune in Tacoma says that he feels the market for Jadeveon Clowney is shrinking, and Bell doesn't think that many long term, big money deals are on the table for the premier pass rusher. Bell also says that Antonio Brown isn't signing with anyone until the NFL allows him to return to the league.
