Pierre LeBrun talks all things NHL ahead of the trade deadline. He gave his take on Gaudette's scenario in Vancouver after rumors he may me on the trade block. He feels he could be used in the potential move for Simmonds but he expects draft picks to be the trading chip in that potential move. He thinks Florida are a real wild card. He also believes if Dumba and/or Brodin are shopped by Minnesota, they would be the biggest pieces ahead of Monday.

Former Olympian Jon Montgomery joined Sekeres & Price to reflect on the 2010 Winter Olympics in British Columbia. He also looks back on his beer moment that opened up many doors, describing it as "just being myself".H He says it drastically changed his life. He still feels heart broken for the family of Nodar Kumaritashvili, who passed away in Whistler. He says he was extremely focused in his event and wouldn't let weather, fans or any other factor alter his mindset.

Darren Dreger of TSN was on 1040 today to talk all things NHL as trade activity starts to heat up. Dreger believes the Kings knew they had a good deal with the Canucks for Toffoli which is why negotiations went so smoothly. He also expects the Canucks to stay active in the market, with chats with New Jersey still potentially on going. He doesn't expect Vancouver to load up but feels they might still have a move up their sleeve.
