TSN Hockey Insider & The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun says at the start of the season, he thought Mike Babcock would get the season & potentially be fired based on playoff performance. As the season has gone on, Pierre says the idea of a firing coming sooner became a reality but he thought Babcock would get the rest of the Leafs road trip. Pierre believes this is more of the GM & head coach not on the same page, not the head coach & a superstar player getting along.
