  • November 30 2022 - Darren Dreger, Jeff Paterson & Tosaint Ricketts

Matt and Blake digest a 5-1 Canucks loss to the Washington Capitals where head coach Bruce Boudreau said they got "bullied" and point forward to Thursday's game against Florida which will feature a ceremony for Hall-of-Famers Roberto Luongo and the Sedin twins.

Jeff Paterson (Rink Wide: Vancouver) stops by to talk about his post-game exchange with Quinn Hughes and how the Canucks best players were anything but. He also comments on what the Canucks should do with Luongo, whether that's retiring his No. 1 or another honour.

Darren Dreger (Ray & Dregs Hockey Podcast) joins to discuss the path forward for winger Andrei Kuzmenko and how the Canucks can handle this pending free agent. He also comments on the next steps for the Canucks in the Rachel Doerrie matter after the former analyst/video coach filed a human rights complaint.

Tosaint Ricketts previews Canada vs. Morocco at the World Cup.

Ex-Canucks analyst/video coach Rachel Doerrie tells her side of the story about a brief employment with the organization that ended with a September dismissal. She has filed a human rights complaint against the Canucks, and tells us more than anything she is seeking public accountability from the club.

Patrick Johnston tells us why he thinks Vasily Podkolzin will be recalled before Jack Rathbone after both were demoted Monday. Patrick covers the goaltending duties and the rise of Sheldon Dries.

  • November 28 2022 - Jeff Paterson, John Shannon & Vanni Sartini

Big Monday show after a winning weekend for the Canucks and a crushing loss by Canada at the World Cup. Rachel Doerrie's human rights complaint against the Canucks, and John Herdman's coaching also feature.

Jeff Paterson (Rink Wide: Vancouver) took us through all the good with the Canucks: from Elias Pettersson and his linemates, to Quinn Hughes, to goaltending, scoring, power play and even (gasp!) defence. Jeff looks at the week ahead with games against Ovechkin and the Caps, Luongo and the Panthers.

John Shannon stops by with his two cents on how the Canucks compare against the rest of the West including the red-hot Seattle Kraken, and if the team will kept Andrei Kuzmenko as part of their future.

Vanni Sartini, head coach of Vancouver Whitecaps FC, gives us his breakdown of what happened to the Canadians in a 4-1 loss to Croatia. As he predicted last week, that Croatian midfield made the difference.

  • November 25 2022 - Ray Ferraro & Rick Dhaliwal

Huge weekend of sports with the Canucks facing the Golden Knights and Sharks, Canada vs Croatia, and North Vancouver's Connor Bedard at the LEC to face the Vancouver Giants.

Ray Ferraro from the Ray and Dregs Hockey Podcast first encountered Bedard as a 14-year-old, and tells stories about how he came to be aware of the hockey prodigy. Ray also gives us his assessment of Elias Pettersson wanting (and getting) the power-on-power matchups against the likes of Nathan MacKinnon.

Rick Dhaliwal joins us with his read on the Bo Horvat tea leaves, and why his representative didn't meet with the Canucks in Toronto a couple of weekends back. Rick shoots down speculation that the Canucks were interviewing coaching replacements in town last week.

  • November 24 2022 - Jeff Paterson & Rob Williams

The guys digest two games of interest: Canada's 1-0 loss to Belgium at the World Cup, and the Canucks' 4-3 comeback win against the Colorado Avalanche.
Blake returns after calling the World Cup match on radio. He offers his thoughts and impressions on the Canadian performance and the next match Sunday against Croatia.

Jeff Paterson tells us why he's all for Elias Pettersson playing tougher matchups and handling more responsibility after another terrific game in Denver.

And Rob Williams morphs into Roberto the Futbol Guy talking about the scenes in Qatar and the reports on the ground. He also discusses the high-powered Canucks' offence and the comments by Luke Schenn that Vancouver's defensive problems are rooted in effort.

  • November 23 2022 - Darren Dreger & Vanni Sartini

An historic day for Canada as the men's national team faces Belgium at the World Cup.

Rink Wide: Vancouver's Jeff Paterson sits in for Blake Price, who was calling the game on radio, and the guys recap an outstanding 90-minute effort from Canada in a losing cause. Whitecaps FC coach Vanni Sartini stops by with his analysis of the match and says Canada should've had three penalty kicks not one. He also explains why Alphonso Davies took the kick, not striker Jonathan David.

Darren Dreger takes us through the Canucks' coaching conundrum. What is more likely: an interim or permanent replacement should they replace Bruce Boudreau? Dreger points out an oddity as he read the tea leaves on a Bo Horvat trade, and tells us why one rumoured team has to settle its own case with an unrestricted free-agent centreman before considering the Canucks captain.

Rick gives us the latest info on Horvat trade rumours, the future of Bruce Boudreau, the interest in Luke Schenn, and the future of college prospect Aidan McDonough.
