I have been in Las Vegas since 1960 and attended UNLV in 1966. In the past 50+ years I have watched this community grow and prosper. I continue to love the community and the people in the Las Vegas valley. I have extensive marketing and sales background including working with Steve Wynn for 10 years. I purchased the Social Register of Las Vegas in 1997 because of my passionate commitment to helping businesses grow.
Businesses of every size have an opportunity to network with other professionals during our variety of monthly events. A vital part of the Social Register is enabling small companies to build business partnerships and expand their products and services in a professional networking environment. Medium and large organizations find membership extremely valuable to promote and expand their brand, products and services.
With over 2,400 members, the Social Register of Las Vegas is the premier Las Vegas business networking organization. We provide the opportunity for networking in smaller intimate groups as well as larger more social events.

We all know Steve Wynn, but have you ever wondered what it would have been like working for him during his early days in Las Vegas? In today’s show, Dave had the opportunity of talking with Clair Zeto who worked for Steve for over 10 years at the Golden Nugget, which was prior to her taking over and building her current business, The Social Register of Las Vegas.
Clair’s story is one of determination and hard work mixed with a lot of creativity. In fact, Clair started her entrepreneurial journey by just wanting to serve others as a member of The Social Register and the next thing she knew she was its proud owner. This is a can’t miss show for those of you who are looking to be inspired by a life of passion and hard work.
You share a big part of your Las Vegas history with some true leaders.
Clair Zeto has been a resident in the Las Vegas community since 1960. She has an impressive background as VIP Director for the Golden Nugget and was personally recruited by Bobby Baldwin and Steve Wynn and worked with them for 10 years.
You must have some great experiences being involved in those days with the VIP's?
I worked with big names like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Diana Ross, Willie Nelson and members of the original Rat Pack. Our jobs were to set the rooms before the guests would arrive and make sure they had whatever they wanted. Wine, cigars, gifts, etc. We were to wine and dine these guests to ensure they were taken care of. That meant parties, limo's, food, etc. We have 10 executives, 5 butlers, and many others to help us out.
Did you get any strange request?
One time we had a high roller stay in the presidential suites and our job was to ensure he had the best birthday experience. We would get all the staff we could from other departments and invite them to come party at the guests room. I was called up to the room to take care of a situation to find girls sliding down the staircase rail. Each time the girls went down they were paid $100.
The Beginning of the Social Register for Clair
Once Clair's children moved onto school full-time she wanted to get involved. She joined the Social Register in 1996 with about 220 members. The club at that time was just a social club and no business networking was going on. Clair started to get more involved and asked about volunteering her time to do more events with the previous owner and within 10 minutes he said he wanted to sell the business and within 3 months Clair was the new owner.
Clair saw the need immediately to add a business division because how different Las Vegas was and it needed to have this added to the Social Register.
