This is another in our series of friends of the Clarkston Family Farm. Chelsea talks with Louise Stakle, owner of Brioni Cafe and Deli. Brioni's was a major meeting point for the planning and problem solving involved in the early days of the Farm. Louise, always interested in the progress being made, provided much needed support and encouragement during this period.
Carole Bodner and Wally Niezguski discuss with Chelsea some of the reasons why organic gardening is so important and a few of methods learned over years.
Barbara Hamilton and Bob McGowan, owners of Bittersweet Farm are Chelsea's guests on this episode. Bittersweet Farm is a non-profit, organic farm growing vegetables for the Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.

The Clarkston Family Farm relies on a dedicated group of volunteer counselors to help run many of the programs. In this episode, Chelsea talks to a few of them about their passion for the Farm's programs and the kids that they mentor. We will be hearing from more of these counselors in future episodes.
