This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. It says in the Book of Acts when the Holy Spirit first came upon the believers. We pray the prayer today as they prayed then, Come Holy Spirit, Come.
Today in worship: God has called us to be in relationship with one and another. Jesus said when two or more are gathered in my name, I am there. What does it look like to approach our friendships with that in mind?
People can be difficult. Conflict, disagreement, hurt feelings and anger are all part of relationships. Some can be healed, others seem likely not to be reconciled. How can we be faithful and just in our difficult relationships?
The Apostle Paul took time to speak to how Christian families are to relate to each other. Why did he think this was important enough to write to the early church? Is there a way Christian Families are to relate to each other differently than other healthy families?
