Clashing in Traffic — A Podcast Dedicated to Supercell & Clash of Clans

Happy birthday, Clash of Clans!!! Let’s talk about the birthday events going on right now and why I can’t do them yet. There were rumors of a “hard carry” in the CFF summer scrims; but I don’t mention it in the episode so the only folks who will get that is the two of you who actually read the descriptions. Seriously, how many people read this? Tag me in any mutual Discord server with the phrase “Cruise Control” if you actually read this far into the description. https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord

What are some ways that actually work for recruiting new players to your clan? The in-game recruitment tool does not provide any way to chat with players before letting them in. Reddit has r/ClashOfClansRecruit, but that has not resulted in much success for us yet. Let’s talk about some ways that might actually work. We’ll also discuss some potential leaks about what could be coming in the next update and how long we will have to wait for that update.

This week KoZ had an *almost* perfect 15 v 15 war with all TH14 — just how close did they get? We also discuss some unconfirmed leaks about July Clan Games rewards, a Discord both with some awesome new features, and a coffee that was so good it caused your host to time travel back 20 some years into the past. Come join us in Discord to see some more details on that bot at https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord | Check out the replay of that one building that just would not die on Amazon GameOn at https://gameon.amazon.com/game-clips/Clash-of-Clans/YR2ZNSroa7?src=_Prompted&uid=catfish_koz

This week’s episode was delayed because Catfish is an old fart who threw out his back retrieving a beer from the fridge. Boomer status: CONFIRMED. I had enough people reach out asking where the episode was that I decided to find some time to record a little bit about SCCWL and Summer Scrims status. Next week (hopefully) will be back to a normal episode. Come chat with me on Discord at https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord

Today, let’s chat about SCCWL progress, updates to BurntBase bot, Nob’s sandwich making skills, & making our communities better places to live.

With clan games wrapped up and SCCWL a few days away we have some events to do. You know Catfish will be trying to do them all at the same time, but can he do it with 3 heroes down? We’ll also talk about the voting for the eSports Awards and how they could impact Clash of Clans. Go cast your vote at https://esportsawards.com/vote/ #GetBetter

It’s clan games day, y’all!!! This month’s rewards are much better than last month. The Knights of Zion take the first step towards being an actual “competitive” clan again with Catfish at the helm of one of its teams in the Clash Files TH14 Summer Scrims (discord.gg/ClashFiles). We also talk about some crazy plans to finish Rocket Loon, miner, witch, & Super Barbarian events all with one army. We also invite other podcasters to come promote their podcasts in the Jlaus Gaming Discord server at https://bit.ly/KlausGDiscord

It’s update day, y’all!!! Let’s get some recaps of SCCWL and some hot takes on the new update. I’ll also answer a few listener questions and have a shoutout to someone special. Come join the conversation at https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord

This week we will talk about how SCCWL is going in COTP Plebs, Eden’s Edge, and Jericho Rising; CoC World Championships and why I don’t watch them; and hear about a new intern filling in as the producer while Sparky is away. Come chat with me on Discord at https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord

This week I highlight a few Clash of Clans tools such as www.burntbase.com - www.clashofstats.com - www.clashofclansforecaster.com - www.clashtrack.com - & www.clash.ninja | I’ll also discuss some changes to the way KoZ is doing SCCWL this month, a couple new leaders in my clan families, and why Apple Podcast listeners need to resubscribe.
