Clashing in Traffic — A Podcast Dedicated to Supercell & Clash of Clans

Can you believe we made it to episode 25? To celebrate, I am going to drive to work in the carpool lane. Will I get a ticket for riding alone or do we have something special going on in today’s episode? | Come join the conversation on Discord at https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord | Interested in joining one of our clans? WE DID IT!!! The Knights of Zion were victorious and promoted the Champion League 2 in Supercell CWL! We have so many events going on in CoC that I can’t even keep up. I have a good update on my step-mother’s health. I also want to apologize for not highlighting the fact that HiroKilla and the rest of the Filthy TryHards lost 10-11 to Karl’s Rejects on 07 AUG 2021. Sorry about that, Hiro. Search for “The Only Clash Podcast” and leave them a 5-star review for me.

KoZ is in a battle to promote to Champion League 2. COTP Plebs continue to do good work with only TH10 and below. MarshMan asks an intriguing question that brings some doubt about how consistent the laws of physics are in the Clash universe. Come chat with me at https://bit.ly/CatfishDicord

Happy birthday, Clash of Clans!!! Let’s talk about the birthday events going on right now and why I can’t do them yet. There were rumors of a “hard carry” in the CFF summer scrims; but I don’t mention it in the episode so the only folks who will get that is the two of you who actually read the descriptions. Seriously, how many people read this? Tag me in any mutual Discord server with the phrase “Cruise Control” if you actually read this far into the description. https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord

What are some ways that actually work for recruiting new players to your clan? The in-game recruitment tool does not provide any way to chat with players before letting them in. Reddit has r/ClashOfClansRecruit, but that has not resulted in much success for us yet. Let’s talk about some ways that might actually work. We’ll also discuss some potential leaks about what could be coming in the next update and how long we will have to wait for that update.

This week KoZ had an *almost* perfect 15 v 15 war with all TH14 — just how close did they get? We also discuss some unconfirmed leaks about July Clan Games rewards, a Discord both with some awesome new features, and a coffee that was so good it caused your host to time travel back 20 some years into the past. This week’s episode was delayed because Catfish is an old fart who threw out his back retrieving a beer from the fridge. Boomer status: CONFIRMED. I had enough people reach out asking where the episode was that I decided to find some time to record a little bit about SCCWL and Summer Scrims status. Next week (hopefully) will be back to a normal episode. Come chat with me on Discord at https://bit.ly/CatfishDiscord
