שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל, יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ, יְיָ | אֶחָד:

בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד:

וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְיָ אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ, בְּכָל | לְבָבְךָ, וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ, וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶֽךָ:

וְהָיוּ הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵֽלֶּה אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּוֹם, עַל | לְבָבֶֽךָ:

וְשִׁנַּנְתָּם לְבָנֶֽיךָ וְדִבַּרְתָּ בָּם, בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶֽךָ, וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּֽרֶךְ, וּבְשָׁכְבְּךָ, וּבְקוּמֶֽךָ:

וּקְשַׁרְתָּם לְאוֹת עַל יָדֶֽךָ, וְהָיוּ לְטֹטָפֹת בֵּין עֵינֶֽיךָ:

וּכְתַבְתָּם עַל מְזֻזוֹת בֵּיתֶֽךָ, וּבִשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ:

אַתָּה הוּא עַד שֶׁלֹּא נִבְרָא הָעוֹלָם, אַתָּה הוּא מִשֶּׁנִּבְרָא הָעוֹלָם,

אַתָּה הוּא בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וְאַתָּה הוּא לָעוֹלָם הַבָּא.

קַדֵּשׁ אֶת שִׁמְךָ בָּעוֹלָמֶֽךָ עַל עַם מַקְדִּישֵׁי שְׁמֶֽךָ,

וּבִישׁוּעָתְךָ מַלְכֵּֽנוּ תָּרוּם וְתַגְבִּֽיהַּ קַרְנֵֽנוּ, וְהוֹשִׁיעֵֽנוּ בְּקָרוֹב לְמַֽעַן שְׁמֶֽךָ.

בָּרוּךְ הַמְקַדֵּשׁ שְׁמוֹ בָּרַבִּים:

אַתָּה הוּא יְיָ הָאֱלֹהִים בַּשָּׁמַֽיִם וּבָאָֽרֶץ, וּבִשְׁמֵי הַשָּׁמַֽיִם הָעֶלְיוֹנִים.

אֱמֶת אַתָּה הוּא רִאשׁוֹן, וְאַתָּה הוּא אַחֲרוֹן, וּמִבַּלְעָדֶֽיךָ אֵין אֱלֹהִים.

קַבֵּץ נְפוּצוֹת קֹוֶֽיךָ מֵאַרְבַּע כַּנְפוֹת הָאָֽרֶץ,

יַכִּֽירוּ וְיֵדְעוּ כָּל בָּאֵי עוֹלָם, כִּי אַתָּה הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים לְבַדְּךָ לְכֹל מַמְלְכוֹת הָאָֽרֶץ.

אַתָּה עָשִֽׂיתָ אֶת הַשָּׁמַֽיִם וְאֶת הָאָֽרֶץ, אֶת הַיָּם וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר בָּם,

וּמִי בְּכָל מַעֲשֵׂה יָדֶֽיךָ בָּעֶלְיוֹנִים וּבַתַּחְתּוֹנִים, שֶׁיֹּאמַר לְךָ מַה תַּעֲשֶׂה, וּמַה תִּפְעָל.

אָבִֽינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַֽיִם, חַי וְקַיָּם, עֲשֵׂה עִמָּֽנוּ צְדָקָה וָחֶֽסֶד בַּעֲבוּר שִׁמְךָ הַגָּדוֹל הַגִּבּוֹר וְהַנּוֹרָא שֶׁנִּקְרָא עָלֵֽינוּ,

וְקַיֶּם לָֽנוּ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ אֶת הַדָּבָר שֶׁהִבְטַחְתָּֽנוּ עַל יְדֵי צְפַנְיָה חוֹזָךְ כָּאָמוּר:

בָּעֵת הַהִיא אָבִיא אֶתְכֶם, וּבָעֵת קַבְּצִי אֶתְכֶם,

כִּי אֶתֵּן אֶתְכֶם לְשֵׁם וְלִתְהִלָּה בְּכֹל עַמֵּי הָאָֽרֶץ, בְּשׁוּבִי אֶת שְׁבוּתֵיכֶם לְעֵינֵיכֶם, אָמַר יְיָ:

Hear, O Yisrael, God is our Lord, God is one.

Blessed be the name of His glorious kingdom forever and ever.

You shall love God your Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.

These words that I command you today shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit at home, when you walk on the way, when you lie down and when you rise.

You shall bind them as a sign on your arm and as an ornament between your eyes.

And you shall write them on the doorposts of your homes and your gates.

You are the One Who existed before the world was created; You are the One Who has existed since the world was created.

You are the One Who exists in this world, and You are the One Who will exist in the World to Come.

Sanctify Your name in Your world upon the people who make Your name holy.

Through Your salvation, our King, raise and uplift our banner, and deliver us soon for the sake of Your name.

Blessed is He Who sanctifies His name among people at large.

You indeed are God our Lord,

Truly, You are the first and You are the last; apart from You, there is no God.

Gather the dispersed who put their hope in You from the four corners of the earth.

Let all the inhabitants of the earth recognize and know that You alone are the Lord over all the kingdoms of the world.

You made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all that they contain.

Who among all the works of Your hands, in the spiritual realms or in the physical realms can tell You what You should do, or what You should bring into being?

Our Father in heaven, Who lives eternally,

deal charitably and kindly with us for the sake of Your great, mighty, and awesome name that is proclaimed upon us.

Fulfill for us, God our Lord, the promise You made through Tzephaniah, Your seer, as it is written,8

“ ‘At that time, I will bring you back and at that time, I will gather you,

for I will make you renowned and glorified among all the nations of the earth, when I return your captivity before your eyes.’ Thus has God declared.”
