וַיּוֹשַׁע יְיָ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל מִיַּד מִצְרָיִם, וַיַּרְא יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת מִצְרַיִם מֵת עַל שְׂפַת הַיָּם׃

And God delivered Israel from the hand of the Egyptians on that day, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the shore of the sea.

וַיַּרְא יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַיָּד הַגְּדֹלָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה יְיָ בְּמִצְרַיִם, וַיִּירְאוּ הָעָם אֶת יְיָ, וַיַּאֲמִינוּ בַּייָ וּבְמֹשֶׁה עַבְדּוֹ׃

Israel saw the mighty hand that God had wielded against the Egyptians, and the people feared God, and they believed in God and in Moses, His servant.

וְכָרוֹת עִמּוֹ הַבְּרִית, לָתֵת אֶת אֶרֶץ הַכְּנַעֲנִי הַחִתִּי הָאֱמֹרִי וְהַפְּרִזִּי וְהַיְבוּסִי וְהַגִּרְגָּשִׁי לָתֵת לְזַרְעוֹ, וַתָּקֶם אֶת דְּבָרֶיךָ כִּי צַדִּיק אָתָּה׃

– to establish the covenant with him to give him the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizites, the Jebusites and the Girgashites, to give it to his descendants, and You upheld Your word, for You are righteous.

You are God the Lord Who chose Avram, and brought him out from Ur of the Chaldees, and named him Abraham.

וּמָצָאתָ אֶת לְבָבוֹ נֶאֱמָן לְפָנֶיךָ

Wealth and honor come from You, and You rule over all; in Your hand are strength and might; and it is in Your hand to grant anyone greatness and strength.

וְעַתָּה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, מוֹדִים אֲנַחְנוּ לָךְ, וּמְהַלְלִים לְשֵׁם תִּפְאַרְתֶּךָ׃
And now, our God, we thankfully acknowledge You and praise Your splendid name.

The greatness, the might, the splendor, the victory, and the glory are all Yours, for everything in heaven and on earth [is Yours]. Kingship and the rule of all leaders [derives from] You.

Let [Israel] bless Your glorious name, for You are exalted above all blessing and praise.

And You saw the oppression of our ancestors in Egypt, and You heard their outcry at the Sea of Reeds.

וְהַיָּם בָּקַעְתָּ לִפְנֵיהֶם וַיַּעַבְרוּ בְתוֹךְ הַיָּם בַּיַּבָּשָׁה…
You split the sea before them, and they passed through the sea on dry land…

וַיְבָרֶךְ דָּוִיד אֶת יְיָ לְעֵינֵי כָּל הַקָּהָל, וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִיד, בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אָבִינוּ, מֵעוֹלָם וְעַד עוֹלָם׃
And David blessed God in the presence of the entire assembly, and David said: “Blessed are You, God, the Lord of our father Israel, from this world until the World to Come.

לְךָ יְיָ הַגְּדֻלָּה, וְהַגְּבוּרָה, וְהַתִּפְאֶרֶת, וְהַנֵּצַח, וְהַהוֹד, כִּי כֹל בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ, לְךָ יְיָ הַמַּמְלָכָה וְהַמִּתְנַשֵּׂא לְכֹל לְרֹאשׁ׃
