הַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר, כְּפוֹר כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּר׃

He gives snow like fleece; He scatters frost like ashes.

מַשְׁלִיךְ קַרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים, לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ מִי יַעֲמֹד׃

He casts His ice like crumbs; who can withstand His cold?

יִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם, יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ יִזְּלוּ מָיִם׃

He sends forth His word and it melts them; He causes His wind to blow and water flows.

מַגִּיד דְּבָרָיו לְיַעֲקֹב, חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו לְיִשְׂרָאֵל׃

He relates His word to Jacob, His statutes and judgments to Israel.

לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן לְכָל גּוֹי, וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל יְדָעוּם, הַלְלוּיָהּ׃

He did not do this for other nations, nor do they know [these] judgments. Praise God!

גָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב כֹּחַ, לִתְבוּנָתוֹ אֵין מִסְפָּר׃

Our Lord is great and abundant in power; His understanding cannot be described.

מְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יְיָ, מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי אָרֶץ׃

God raises the spirits of the humble; He humbles the wicked down to the ground.

עֱנוּ לַייָ בְּתוֹדָה, זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְכִנּוֹר׃

Call out to God in thanks, with a harp make music to our Lord –

הַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם בְּעָבִים, הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר, הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר׃

Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, Who causes grass to grow on the mountains,

נוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ, לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ׃

Who gives animals their food, to the offspring of the raven that call out.

לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ, לֹא בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה׃

He does not desire [those who trust in] the might of the horse, nor does He favor [those who trust in] the thighs of man.

רוֹצֶה יְיָ אֶת יְרֵאָיו, אֶת הַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ׃

God desires those who fear Him, those who long for His kindness.

Praise God! It is good to make music for our God, for praise [to His name] is pleasant and attractive.

I will praise God during my life, I will make music to my Lord while I exist.

May my mouth utter God’s praise, and may all flesh bless His holy name forever.

וַאֲנַחְנוּ נְבָרֵךְ יָהּ, מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם, הַלְלוּיָהּ׃

And we will bless God from now until eternity; Praise God!
