וְאִמְרוּ, הוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ, וְקַבְּצֵנוּ וְהַצִּילֵנוּ מִן הַגּוֹיִם, לְהוֹדוֹת לְשֵׁם קָדְשֶׁךָ, לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּחַ בִּתְהִלָּתֶךָ׃

Say: “Deliver us, O God of our salvation, gather us together and save us from among the nations, so that we may thankfully acknowledge Your holy name and glory in Your praise.”

בָּרוּךְ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הָעוֹלָם וְעַד הָעוֹלָם, וַיֹּאמְרוּ כָל הָעָם אָמֵן וְהַלֵּל לַייָ׃

Blessed is God, the Lord of Israel, from this world until the World to Come – and all the people said: “Amen; praise God.”

רוֹמְמוּ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַהֲדֹם רַגְלָיו, קָדוֹשׁ הוּא׃

Exalt God our Lord, and bow toward [the Sanctuary which is likened to] His footstool; He is holy.

רוֹמְמוּ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְהַר קָדְשׁוֹ, כִּי קָדוֹשׁ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃

Exalt God our Lord and bow toward His holy mountain, for God our Lord is Holy.

וְהוּא רַחוּם יְכַפֵּר עָוֹן וְלֹא יַשְׁחִית, וְהִרְבָּה לְהָשִׁיב אַפּוֹ, וְלֹא יָעִיר כָּל חֲמָתוֹ׃

And He is merciful, forgiving of sin and will not destroy; many times He withdraws His anger and does not arouse His wrath at all.

אַתָּה יְיָ לֹא תִכְלָא רַחֲמֶיךָ מִמֶּנִּי, חַסְדְּךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ תָּמִיד יִצְּרוּנִי׃

May You, God, not hold back Your mercy from me; may Your kindness and truth always protect me.

זְכֹר רַחֲמֶיךָ יְיָ וַחֲסָדֶיךָ, כִּי מֵעוֹלָם הֵמָּה׃

Remember Your mercies, O God, and Your acts of kindness, for they have existed for all time.

תְּנוּ עֹז לֵאלֹהִים עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּאֲוָתוֹ, וְעֻזּוֹ בַּשְּׁחָקִים׃

Ascribe power to God; His exaltedness is upon Israel, and His might is in the skies.

נוֹרָא אֱלֹהִים מִמִּקְדָּשֶׁיךָ, אֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא נֹתֵן עֹז וְתַעֲצֻמוֹת לָעָם, בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהִים׃

May the awe of God [shine forth] from Your Sanctuaries; God of Israel, He will endow strength and power to the people; blessed is God.

אֵל נְקָמוֹת יְיָ, אֵל נְקָמוֹת הוֹפִיעַ׃

God is a Lord of vengeance; O God of retribution, appear!

הִנָּשֵׂא שֹׁפֵט הָאָרֶץ, הָשֵׁב גְּמוּל עַל גֵּאִים׃

Render to the proud their recompense.

לַייָ הַיְשׁוּעָה, עַל עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶךָ סֶּלָה׃

Deliverance is God’s; may Your blessing rest on Your people forever.

יְיָ צְבָאוֹת עִמָּנוּ, מִשְׂגָּב לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה׃

The G-d, the Commander of Legions is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold forever.

יְיָ צְבָאוֹת, אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם בֹּטֵחַ בָּךְ׃

G-d, the Commander of Legions, fortunate is the man who trusts in You.

יְיָ הוֹשִׁיעָה, הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיוֹם קָרְאֵנוּ׃

God, deliver us. May the King answer us on the day we call.

הוֹשִׁיעָה אֶת עַמֶּךָ וּבָרֵךְ אֶת נַחֲלָתֶךָ, וּרְעֵם וְנַשְּׂאֵם עַד הָעוֹלָם׃

Save Your people, bless Your heritage, shepherd them and exalt them forever.

נַפְשֵׁנוּ חִכְּתָה לַייָ, עֶזְרֵנוּ וּמָגִנֵּנוּ הוּא׃

Our soul yearns for God; He is our help and our shield.

כִּי בוֹ יִשְׂמַח לִבֵּנוּ, כִּי בְשֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ בָטָחְנוּ׃

For our heart will rejoice in Him, because we have placed our trust in His holy name.

יְהִי חַסְדְּךָ יְיָ עָלֵינוּ, כַּאֲשֶׁר יִחַלְנוּ לָךְ׃

May Your kindness be upon us, in accordance with the hope that we have placed in You.

הַרְאֵנוּ יְיָ חַסְדֶּךָ, וְיֶשְׁעֲךָ תִּתֶּן לָנוּ׃

Show us Your kindness, O God, and grant us Your salvation.

קוּמָה עֶזְרָתָה לָּנוּ, וּפְדֵנוּ לְמַעַן חַסְדֶּךָ׃

Arise, come to our assistance, redeem us for the sake of Your kindness.

אָנֹכִי יְיָ אֱלֹהֶיךָ הַמַּעַלְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם, הַרְחֶב פִּיךָ וַאֲמַלְאֵהוּ׃

I am God your Lord Who brought you up from the land of Egypt, open wide your mouth, [state your desires] and I will grant [them].

אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁכָּכָה לּוֹ, אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁיְיָ אֱלֹהָיו׃

Fortunate are the people whose lot is such; fortunate are the people whose God is the Lord.56

וַאֲנִי בְּחַסְדְּךָ בָטַחְתִּי יָגֵל לִבִּי בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ, אָשִׁירָה לַייָ כִּי גָמַל עָלָי׃

I have placed my trust in Your kindness; my heart will rejoice in Your deliverance; I will sing to God, for He has treated me kindly.
