Well, it didn't take more than a minute or two to convince me I had a hit on my hands with this terrific dance number! Smokin'! The B side is also dynamite, since it highlights what a fine arrangement backs those gals up on the A side. The A side is specially edited from a 4:59 album track. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels and Near Mint vinyl and audio. The audio has a touch of noise right at the beginning, but I didn't hear anything but great music after that.

Considering all the great singles Nick Lowe released during the late 1970's through the 1980's, it's incredible to realize that this is one of only two that actually hit the American Hot 100. This wonderful recording is hard to describe... part Funk, part Psychedelic Rock, part Soul. The studio group had many albums but only one chart single. This one probably failed to chart because it doesn't fit any genre neatly. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Warner Bros. Records factory sleeve. The labels have light storage wear, grading Near Mint. The vinyl (styrene) looks almost untouched, and the grooves preserve gorgeous, pristine Mint sound.
