From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy with a drillhole, in its original Motown factory sleeve. Michael Jackson was unbelievably talented. Witness this, the greatest of all Jackson 5 singles, as well as their first, and the first of four consecutive #1 hits over the course of the next 10 months. All of this success falling squarely on the back of little 11-year-old Michael. What a talent! Of course, whoever is doing honors on the piano and guitar ain't half bad either... I mean, the opening few bars of this record, once heard, are not soon forgotten. How could anyone not love this song? I'm always thrilled to get a nice copy of this amazing single back into the store. By the way, the A side is slightly edited from a 2:58 album version, and the B side is also about a minute shorter than the 3:57 album cut. Note: Aside from the drillhole, this is a pristine Mint copy.

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. Both sides are terrific, tuneful mid-1960's pop. The flip side of the picture sleeve has a wonderful textual 'history' of the band and an address for the fan club. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels and pristine sound. The vinyl (styrene) has a few light storage scuffs. The picture sleeve is Near Mint.

This is a new, unplayed stock copy with a partial drillhole. Perfect soul doo-wop. The seeds of the Philly soul sound too. One of the very best Manhattans singles of all. If you haven't yet gotten to know the Manhattans' terrific work on Carnival, this is an excellent place to start! Note: Aside from the partial drillhole, which may appear on either the A or B side, this beautiful copy is pristine Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy with a drillhole, in its original Ampex factory sleeve. The flip is an instrumental version of the song. When this one came out, most radio programmers approached it as a novelty tune... which it was, of course... novel, that is. Today it's obviously just an incredibly great reggae track.

Beach music classic! The flip is another Sedaka-Greenfield tune, both in full Stereo. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Kirshner Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels, and the vinyl looks almost untouched. The audio grades very close to Mint.

Was there ever a more perfect Power Pop single? Oh, I suppose so, but this one sure helps define the genre framed by the Beatles and other Brit-Poppers. This beautiful copy comes in its rarely seen picture sleeve, the only one released in the U.S. for a Badfinger single. Note: The 45 itself has Mint labels, untouched-looking vinyl and nearly pristine sound. The picture sleeve grades less, EX, reflecting some ringwear, a small top-edge tear, and a small bottom-edge split-seam.

This is a beautiful copy of a great Beach Boys single, featuring a B side that could have been an A side on its own, taken from the Pet Sounds LP. Chock full of Brian Wilson production surprises, like his best work. I've been seeking a nice copy of this single ever since the A side was featured on the "Big Bang Theory" TV show. I really love that line "You soften my life with your love, your precious love..." Note: This 45 record comes in a nearly flawless picture sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" for a low-res taste. :-)
