On the B side of this classic hit is another reason why Joe South is so admired... here's a complex pop song that's part country, part soul, part psychedelic rock. Numerous tricky, interesting time changes and melodies make it a great find hidden on a B side. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Capitol Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).

Amazing to realize that these guys fit this garage classic into less than 2 minutes! Yet it's absolutely perfect even at 1:52. By the way, this was a non-album single, as the group made no albums. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels. The vinyl (styrene) looks Near Mint as well, and the audio grades the same with just a touch of surface noise near the beginning.

Besides having one of this group's best-loved hits on the A side, I also treasure it for the lovely, tender, and unexpected folk number on the flip. The copy for sale has Mint labels, and comes in a White Whale vintage sleeve. The audio is very close to Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

This terrific recording combines the virtues of Sunshine Pop vocal harmony with the driving beat of a Northern Soul dancer. One of my faves... take a listen! Note: This copy grades very close to Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).

Quintessential early hard-rock guitar intro... major fodder for the U.S. Garage Group movement. Check out the mp3 "snippet" to hear what I mean. Note: This beautiful copy grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

Dave Marsh was right to give this great Madonna hit such a high ranking in his list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made... it's a perfect Pop confection and a gorgeous blend of 1980's dance rock and 1960's girl group rock. This is the limited-edition pressing on clear blue vinyl. The picture sleeve is also distinguished from the black-vinyl retail copies by having "Limited Edition Blue Vinyl Pressing" printed on the left-hand side of the front cover. The B side is a non-album cut. Note: This beautiful 45 record has some use wear on the vinyl, but the labels are Mint, and so is the audio! The picture sleeve is has a stain in the upper right corner where a sticker was removed. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

Originally released on Mango 126. One of the most delightful dance tunes of 1989... with a reggae-style beat and horns that make it impossible to sit still. This copy is pressed on a marbelized colored vinyl. Like the original Mango 45, the B side is an instrumental version.

Besides the great A side, take a listen to the mp3 "snippet" of this one's B side... virtually all of Joe Simon's 45's are as wonderful as this. Deep gospel soul (some may call the B side "Northern Soul") at its very best! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Sound Stage 7 Records factory sleeve. It has pristine Mint audio! One of the greatest soul instrumentals of all time -- two incredible sides of a new sound that would eventually be labeled "funky soul." Satellite, by the way, shortly changed its name to Stax ... and the rest is history! Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels, a real rarity for this release. The vinyl has some light scuffs, grading a strong EX, while the grooves preserve strong, Near Mint sound.
