Terrific, almost-retro, power pop hit, backed with the very dark but beautiful 'My City Was Gone,' which incidentally places at #949 in Marsh's top 1001. That B side is an edited version of the 5:14 album cut. The picture sleeve is a weak Near Mint with a small tear in the lower left corner, and light age staining. This was the group's first big hit in the U.S. An oddly compelling song, I shudder at the thought that I might actually like it... and then realize that teenagers are rediscovering Queen, and this song is a cult hit all over again. Still, there's no argument that the flip side is a must-have glam-era rocker. Even if you can't stand "Mama Mia!" and so on, you gotta love "The machine of a dream?"... Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" of it! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Elektra/Asylum Records factory sleeve. It has Mint labels, and the Vinyl looks almost untouched. The audio grades close to Mint, but on the A side there is a faint touch of underlying surface noise in the quiet segments.

Here's a beautiful copy of this classic Psychedelic Rock tune, this "supergroup"'s first big hit. Credited here as by "The Cream." Don't neglect the B side here: It's a Psych classic in its own right. By the way, this single's A side (the hit version) is specially edited from a 4:10 album track. Besides the classic A side, which as you'll notice makes #37 on Dave Marsh's list of the top 1001 singles ever made, be sure to listen to the flip, which a collector/dealer I respect greatly once opined was the greatest Four Tops side ever released! You may not agree with that assessment, but I think you'll have to admit it's a must-have Tops track! Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Motown Records factory sleeve.
