A secretary from Connecticut actually won $49,000 in the Colgate forty-niner contest; and in this episode, our Miss Brooks, disillusioned, gets the idea to give up teaching and become a secretary in Connecticut. After all, Mrs. Grace, winner of the sponsors competition, would probably be giving up her job after winning all that money.
