Artie Auerbach appears as "Mr. Nussbaum"! Guest Fred Allen appears as one of the residents of the "Boulevard." Jack introduces Jack Paar, who will be his summer replacement. A similar skit was heard on the program of March 17, 1946.

At first, he thinks it’s from Fibber McGee, but it is from the First National Bank concerning an unclaimed savings account with $209.14. He decides to invest the money in the stock market. Also, we present an episode of "Amos 'n' Andy" from May 20, 1929, where Amos and Andy’s Fresh Air Taxi Cab Company is facing stiff competition from a new competitor that not only opened an office across the street from them, but sent a patronizing letter to them.
