A rebroadcast of the verse play originally heard on The Columbia Workshop in 1938 predicting the civilian horrors of World War II. Also Lum and Abner, originally broadcast March 10, 1939, Jack Benny gets an honorary degree from Pine Ridge University. Jack Benny appears on the program to receive a degree from Pine Ridge University (and cracks up as soon as he opens his mouth). The boys doubt Jack's identity until he plays his violin.
