This is the first pieces of Bartók's Set "9 Little Piano Pieces", Sz. 82. The first four pieces of Sz. 82 are all titled "Dialogue I" - to IV and are mostly two-part contrapunctual pieces, similar to Bach's Inventions or Preludes, but much more modern of course.
