This is the first piece of Schumann's Album for the Young, op. 68, written in 1848. The first 18 pieces belong to the first part of the Al um, which Schumann titled "For the more little ones". Piano tuning by myself.
From "Modern rhythms for jazz-guitar" No.2 by Hans-Dieter Vermeer. Transcription for piano by myself. A joyous little swinging piece. Older recording in mono.
Old mono recording! This is a piano solo version of the famous Star Trek Theme song. Composed by Alexander Courage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Courage) probably first for piano solo and later for orchestra arrangement as heard on the TV series. Piano version is in C-major "Bright Galactic Beguine". I play the original piano score and added the introduction (with the common fanfare) and a short coda, both arranged by myself relating to the orchestra score of the song as heard in the TV series (Star Trek Original series, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_The_Original_Series)
