Today, I decided to record an episode. Random, I know, but who cares? Anyway, this episode features Debussy's Jeux, Mozart's Serenade in G Major and, an all-time favourite, Beethoven's Ode to Joy. Enjoy! (Get it?)
Today, the episode stars some dark pieces (Saint Saëns's Danse Macabre, Mussorgsky's A Night At The Bare Mountain and Berlioz's Dream Of A Witches' Sabbath) to reflect the dark times we're living.
This week we take off with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik, a piece with an odd association for me, and land safely with Johann Strauss II: The Blue Danube.
This time we kick off with a romantic one, Mendelssohn's Wedding March, continue with the best known of Pavarotti's interpretations, Puccini's Nessun dorma, and end with a taste of Christmas with Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite.
