She introduces the goldsmith's process — how gold must be held over the hottest part of the fire so that the impurities invisible from the outside rise to the surface, so the refiner can skim them off until the gold is pure enough to reflect their own face — and shows that this is exactly what God is doing in every fiery trial you face. She traces the endurance of Jesus through every betrayal, misunderstanding, false accusation, and suffering He faced, not to inspire guilt but to anchor hope. He endured all of it so that the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead could live in you.
