There's a quote I once read that said, "Don't mix your words with your mood, you can change your mood, but you can't take back those words." Anonymous. 

Unfortunately a lot of times, we allow our emotions to have control of situations that we experience, and what we do is, respond with our emotions and say the first thing that comes to mind without first filtering it through the Holy Spirit.  If this is you and you realize that mostly always, you speak before you think, maybe it’s time to slow down.

 Proverbs 16:23 says, “Wise people always think before they speak, so what they say is worth listening to”

Do you remember seeing this quote, " It breaks my heart when women look at the sky and think, Wow! God is Amazing!

But look in the mirror and sat, UGH!" As if he did not make both.

Today's episode is a reminder of who we are and how the Lord our God sees us.

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,  how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;  all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. Psalm 139:14-16

Matthew 14-16 (MSG) says, “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

God is calling us to be the light for “ As we let our own light shine we are unconsciously giving other people permission to do the same, As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberated others."
