Have you ever given in to the "bully"? Usually it's because most of us don't believe that we have a choice in the matter, or we're afraid of rocking the boat. I'm here to tell you that you do have a choice. You can make a difference in your life, but only you can make it happen. You are the only one to make the choice to stand up for what you believe in!

Listening is an art, and when we really listen, it has benefits for us and those we are listening to. Not only are we clear about where other people are coming from and what the expectations of us are, but when we really listen to each other, we gain a great sense of understanding, appreciation, and we create an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. In other words, we all win!

The dance of communication is something we do, day-in and day-out, and some days are better than others! So when we aren’t at our best in our communications, what steps can we take so that everyone involved is left whole and complete? What can we do to sharpen the edge on our communication skills?

The purpose of a personal plan is to put YOU back into your life and your family. A personal plan provides you with a place to recharge your batteries and create balance in your life. It also provides you with the energy you need to be totally present when you are with your family, when you are at work and when you are making a difference in your community. Forgiving on your feet... Hmmm? What does that mean? And how can I do that? Over the years of dealing with thousands of people in workshops and conferences, I have encountered some who have made negative comments about me, or my topic, and I realized that for me to move forward, I needed to silently and immediately forgive them and press on with my purpose for being there. In doing so, I was able to move on while respecting the other person and completing my program.

Forgiving on your feet can be done from anywhere at anytime for any reason. Give it a try. It will lighten your load.
