Clear 99 On Demand

Timing & gratitude & connection & wonderful listeners....

It all started with a discussion about the new Real ID's that we're all supposed to have now.

That turned into talk about the weight on your drivers license...

Scotty got caught up in some of those "mowing/yard clean up" type videos on TikTok this weekend.

We wondered what videos YOU get caught up in watching!?

Cher. Reba. LIZ!

We're learning more about Post Malone and Jelly Roll this week, through their tattoos.

And Lord knows there's plenty to learn, and plenty of tattoos to choose from!

Clay Cumbie is a singer/songwriter that spent his Jr. High & High School years in Columbia, before chasing his dreams in Nashville.

Scotty met Clay when is was 16 or so and "playing out". Even then you could tell that Clay had talent, as a singer, songwriter, and guitar player.

Clay has lived the life of a "Nashville Songwriter", and has lots of insights into the music business from that aspect.

We cover a lot of ground, but it's another "behind-the-scenes" type look at Country music that Liz & Scotty love hearing about so much.

It's a new word which is making it's way into the modern lexicon...

It's almost time for the Academy Of Country Music (ACM) Award Show!

We're very excited about the news that Clear 99 has been nominated for ACM Small Market Radio Station of the Year, and Liz & Scotty have been nominated for the personality award as well!

So we talk about what goes into an award entry, as well as sharing the aircheck we submitted for the judges to hear.

We also went through the round 2 ballot for all of the main categories, and explained it and actually voted as well.

A quick story about Liz & Scotty looking forward to the same Saturday.

Our guy Kenny Jay was in town for a few days, so we grabbed him for an in-studio Country Music visit!

We had no real agenda, but Kenny was just at the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Nashville so we figured he'd have a couple of topics we could dig into.

(We posted a page at Clear99.com that has links to some of the things Kenny references in the Poddy.)
