Clear 99 On Demand

Weighted blankets, sound machines, sleeping apps, taping your mouth shut...wait, taping your mouth shut!?

Liz was sharing her "Super Bowl Snack", and it turns out there is an emotional connection to the recipe!

To our surprise, what started with Scotty preparing "Old Church Lady Cookbook Recipes", turned into a discussion with listeners, about Ambrosia Salad, that covered several days!

Scotty doesn't do much online shopping, so has never understood the excitement and anticipation that Liz feels when waiting on a delivery.

The Sophie Cunningham Classic is a high school girls basketball showcase that has grown into a major event, not just in mid-Missouri, but in the world of high school basketball.

Sophie, the namesake of the tournament has distinguished herself as a star in the WNBA, now playing with the Indiana Fever.

Before that, Sophie and her sister Lindsey were both standout players for the University of Missouri, and before that Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO.

And lucky for us, they are also longtime listeners of Clear 99! So it's always a treat when they join us to talk about the upcoming Classic!

FYI, Lindsey was in-studio with us & Sophie was on the phone.

On this Poddy we also share a discussion that we had about fasting. It's something that Liz & Scotty both had an interest in, and thought maybe others do too.

Thanks for finding the Poddy, and we hope you enjoy it!

From dry indoor air, to nonstop cold and flu, winter can be tough on your sinuses.

Dr. Albert Kong is an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist at MU Health Care, and he has some timely information to share.

There's been a lot of Snoop Dogg on the morning show in the last few days...

It started with Lainey Wilson appearing on Snoop's NFL Holiday Halftime Show, which led to Liz sharing about one of the presents Evelyn & Liam got for Christmas!

We're trying something a little different for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day on the radio this year.

We're calling it "A Clear Crew Christmas".

Along with all of the Christmas music we normally play, we're also sprinkling in some Christmas conversations we had as a staff.

Just sharing some traditions, memories & opinions about holiday celebrations!

Now on the radio, these discussions will be mixed in along with lots of Christmas music. But since it's 2025, and content is content, we thought we'd share the talk breaks as a podcast too.

Back-to-back is not really how they were designed to be heard, but they are here just in case someone is interested!

Merry Christmas from Liz, Scotty, Josh, Aric & Kira!

It's from an "Old Lady Church Cookbook", the same cookbook Scotty found his Grandma's pecan recipe in.

Since he grew up in Missouri too, we've figured we'd celebrate his birthday with your favorite Brad Pitt movies...
