When an experimental ship that went missing immediately after it's maiden voyage suddenly reappears orbiting Neptune, a search and rescue team is deployed to recover the ship and search for survivors. Along with the man who built the ship, the crew of the  Lewis & Clark enter into the malignant embrace of the Event Horizon, a ship that has gone beyond where angels fear to tread, and returned carrying an evil presence that turns their deepest fears into horrifying realities.
