Through Christ, we can forgive anyone for anything, but forgiveness is a journey, and it doesn't always end in reconciliation. What do we do when we're not ready to forgive, or when going back isn't safe?

We reread Jesus' parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18 and look at what forgiveness is and what it isn't. Then we talk about how to start when we're not ready, and one surprising prayer that can set us free.

Why is it so much easier to receive forgiveness than to give it? Jesus told a parable about a servant who was forgiven an impossible debt and then refused to forgive someone who owed him far less.
