Clemson’s vaunted defensive line includes a pair of potential first-round NFL picks in Peter Woods and TJ Parker, while LSU replaces last year’s first-round tackles Will Campbell and Emery Jones with Tyree Adams and Weston Davis. Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnick could join Nussmeier in the first-overall-NFL-pick-for-2026, and brings talent and experience. Some say this is Dabo Sweeney’s most talented team in years. Both teams appear to be legitimate playoff contenders, but neither Sweeney nor LSU’s Brian Kelly has been stellar in openers lately.
