On episode 12, we talk with Sam Livingston of the Marathon Group at eXp Realty.
I speak to Sam about all things mindset. We discuss the mindset needed to exceed in real estate, some of his day-to-day mindset/spirituality practices, and how he has leveraged these practices to succeed.
Sam has worked in the capacity of a Realtor since 2006. During that time, he transitioned from senior mentor on the number one Real Estate Team in Ohio to coaching small business professionals that require the development of their own leads. He insists on leading by example and surrounding himself with the best people he can.
He leans on his background as a Lieutenant on the Cleveland Fire Department as well as 20 years of service in the military. He served 6 years of active duty as a US Reconnaissance Marine and then 14 years in the US Army as a reservist deploying several times in support of OIF and OEF. His last deployed assignment was as an imbedded Infantry Mentor with the Afghan National Army where he was the Senior Enlisted Advisor and the Non-Commission Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of an Operational Mentor Liaison Team.
His approach is getting clients into the mindset of consistency in all aspects of their business and life by making measurable incremental habit changes. Sustainability is a priority during the goal setting and planning phases and immediate success is not an expectation. He enjoys the journey and bases his coaching approach around this mindset.
