In this episode of Clever Combo, Lydia reminds us of two things. First, she’s a malicious, devious brewer, and second (and perhaps more importantly) Jodah is, in fact, a thing.

“You Forgot About Jodah” is a XLN-WAR standard deck that digs hard and fast to drop Jodah on four, while holding up a Dive Down for good measure. But the thing is, he has some friends who are far, far more terrifying than a little old 4/3 flyer.

Particularly notable are the herd of Dinosaurs - Zacama, Zetalpa, Ghalta But if that doesn’t get you, Apex of Power, Nexus, and Omniscience form a solid backup plan. A Transformative sideboard allows the deck to slide into a more traditional ramp deck, with Carny T leading the charge.

After the deck, we get into the London Mulligan in only the moderate-est of detail.

In this episode of Clever Combo, like so many others, JJ is drawn to Ravnica by Ral’s interplanar beacon, and he brought some friends with him. Inspired by the availability of low-cmc walkers that have real, immediate board impact, JJ set out to build a Superfriends deck, and the result is spicy.

“With Friends Like These...” is a XLN-WAR standard deck that curves impactful Grixis spells into midgame utility walkers, with a handful of powerful finishers. Half control deck and half Superfriends.

Particularly notable is the new Nicky B, who drops pretty easily on 5 (hey, mana is free on Ravnica, right?) and a Sarkhan that can turn your little walker crew into a surprise alpha swing.

We're back with our GRN set review. This week JJ celebrates Return to Return to Ravnica with an ambitious Gate-themed deck. It probably won't work, but it will be fun to go down in flames.
