Intuitive Carole Serene Borgens has been channeling Divine Wisdom Source PAX since the early 1990s. Her book Do Unto Earth: It’s Not Too Late is a collaboration between PAX, Borgens, and author and energy educator Penelope Jean Hayes. Dr Ervin Lazlo has said that Do Unto Earth is a “must-read book for everyone who cares about the future of humanity and our planet”.
In this Climate of Joy episode, published at the beginning of the COP28 UN Climate conference in the United Arab Emirates, Christine and Carole Serene have a wide-ranging conversation that touches on local food, indigenous wisdom, personal and corporate greed, and how to raise our vibration to change the world.
"It is a part of the greater teaching about how to repair our world today: It comes down to love and respect for all other people, whether we know them or not." Carole Serene Borgens, channeling PAX

What is a person to do in unprecedented and chaotic times like we are living in? This episode of Climate of Joy extends in invitation to the frontier where environmental disaster and quantum consciousness meet. It's an invitation to release the past, both at the personal and the collective level, in order to cultivate a different reality than the painful one that currently dominates the globe. What an incredible time to be alive!
How would it impact our life and the world around us if we decided to embrace the world of energy that quantum science points the way to? The Climate Emergency is being felt around the world this summer. Many of us may be experiencing the fear response in the face of this "global boiling". Christine explores the idea that the Climate Emergency is calling us to evolve beyond the fight/flight/fear response, and the shift that results when we choose to live as if we, and the world around us, is vibrating energy.

This episode looks at how North Americans are increasingly feeling the impacts of a destabilized climate due to the Climate Emergency, Christine and her family included. Moving forward in this stressful time includes incorporating #TMIG moments, advocated by Thomas Homer Dixon in his most recent book, Commanding Hope.

Even in the midst of the existential crises of the Climate Emergency, other life challenges can arise. Christine has an honest talk with a fellow energy healer who recently found herself thrown into a tailspin by a medical diagnosis. Together they explore the link between personal and planetary healing, in a culture that fosters a deep fear of death. Death Doula Helen Grymaloski joins the conversation to share her perspective on preparing for death in a way that allows more room for joy in the present.

Is it cruel optimism to hold the hope of joy and healing in a time of Climate Emergency and other planetary ecological, economic, and social crises? Cruel optimism is a term coined by Lauren Berlant, and used by Johann Hari, author of Stolen Focus, to describe a focus on individual responsibility that trains people to adjust to a morally unjust social system. Some self-help advice out there is a perfect example of this. Is this also true of the Climate of Joy podcast?
